This Butter Bean dip is such a delicious, creamy, and versatile dip. Goes perfectly with any savoury snack idea’s. Also if you close your eyes you could confuse this for hummus, which is hilarious as I can’t seem to get my homemade hummus to taste like hummus…
So, butter beans are high in protein, which helps keep you fuller for longer making this dip a great idea to pair with your savoury snack. And, these beans have got lots of fibre in them which is good for your digestive health.
Check the ingredients list on the back of your can of butter beans and look for a can that doesn’t have any added sugar and you’re good to go. Check out the recipe below:
Butter Bean Dip Ingredients:
- 1 can rinsed butter beans
- ½ tsp ground paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Juice of ½ a small lemon
- 3 tbs olive oil
- Pinch of Salt
Method:
Add all the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add more Olive Oil to get the consistency you like.
